Fritillaria Cirrhosae 4 oz

It is the underground bulb of Fritillaria thunbergii, a perennial herb of the Liliaceae family.

Other names: horsefly, yellow horsefly, horsefly, Fritillaria thunbergii, mother of qin, medicine fruit. It is conical or nearly spherical, with a white surface. It is powdery; the smell is slight and the taste is slightly bitter.

Nature and flavor:

Bitter, sweet, slightly cold; it enters the lung and heart meridians.

Effects:

It has the effects of clearing heat and moistening the lungs, resolving phlegm and relieving cough.

It is used for lung heat and dry cough, dry cough with little phlegm, yin deficiency and fatigue cough, and spitting phlegm and coughing up blood.
