Natural Cassia Seed - Jue Ming Zi 16 oz
Cassia seeds are the mature seeds of the leguminous plant Cassia minia or Cassia vulgaris. They mostly grow in sparse forests on hillside and the mature fruits are harvested in autumn.
Cassia seeds mixed with powder and applied externally can "reduce swelling and poison"; when made into a medicinal pillow, it has the effects of "curing head wind and improving eyesight".
"Guangqun Fangpu" of the Qing Dynasty records: "(Cassia seed) is eaten as a snack and as a tea, and the young leaves can be used as wine." It can be seen that the young shoots, flowers, leaves, and young fruits of Cassia seed can be used in dishes, and they all have the effect of improving eyesight.
